A few words about the race
The team of "MGS PANSERRAIKOS DROMEIS YGEIAS" announces the CIRCUIT GREECE RUN IN SERRES.
Ένα δρομικό γεγονός που θα διεξαχθεί στις 20-22 Μαρτίου 2026 στην Ελλάδα και πιο συγκεκριμένα στο αυτοκινητοδρόμιο της πόλης των Σερρών.
A 3-day racing event that will be held for the first time in such a unique environment in our country and in the Balkan area, in general, and one of the few that have been held throughout Europe.
Το αυτοκινητοδρόμιο Σερρών είναι το πιο σύγχρονο και μεγαλύτερο των Βαλκανίων και σας υπόσχεται για μια μοναδική δρομική εμπειρία.
Θα περιλαμβάνει 3 αγώνες υπεραπόστασης 24 ωρών, 12 ωρών, 6 ωρών, έναν ομαδικό αγώνα σκυτάλης 3X2ώρες και έναν αγώνα Run & Fun 2 στροφών για μικρούς και μεγάλους.
The 3 ultra distance races will be certified by the IAU (INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF ULTRARUNNERS.
The ultramarathon festival Circuit Greece-Serres Ultramarathon is certified by World Athletics and the IAU. It serves as a qualification criterion for any ultradistance race required by the respective organizer. In this context, any potential world records are considered valid.

The SerresCircuit Run is one of the races that I will always remember, both for the record it offered me and for the excellent organization that helped make it happen.
In a particularly favorable circular route of 3.3km, with gentle turns and soft asphalt ideal for the runner (both to develop speed and not to be too inconvenienced, compared to other similar terrain), with volunteers waiting for us throughout the race with a smile, eager and with adequate food and hydration, with particularly good treatment by the organisers towards the people who had come as support crew, it was a given that the experience I would have would be positive, enjoyable and unique.
It is a race that I recommend to all those who do or want to try the ultras, as they will get the best results on all levels.

Serres Circuit Run is one of the best organized races in which I have ever participated. I was in 24h race and won it with the result of 245 km despite very hot weather.
The route was perfectly flat and good for record attempts. The race has IAU label as well - that is top priority for me as I hold the Finnish national record and reaching to even better results.
I recommend this race both to experienced runners and beginners. Even if you don't have your own supporter, you will get everything you need from the organizer; drinks and food.
From my supporter's view, the facilities were very good as well; tents in case of rain or sunshine. The organizers had been very helpful and kind. My wife was supporting me the whole race with our 1-year-old son.
We would love to participate in Serres Circuit Run again. Maybe see you next year and hopefully not so hot weather this time!

I have participated in the Serres circuit 24 h run in march 2025.
The competition venue can be reached comfortably (plane to Thesaloniki + taxi/bus). I had opportunity to stay near the competition venue. I liked the track. Quite a long circle (a little more than 3 km), but you can see other participants, which supports. The first time I ran on soft asphalt. It is more comfortable to run, after the competition my legs hurt less than usual and recovered quickly. Organizers were friendly and supportive. All questions and problems that arose were immediately resolved. The current results are clearly visible on the screen, they are often mentioned. A friendly and pleasant atmosphere. This is a competition that you can visit again.Best regards,

Registration for the race is only possible online. Online registration can be done very simply by following the steps below:
- Select the race you want from the tables at the bottom of the page or from the page Races by pressing the "REGISTER" button
- You will then be taken to the "Registration Completion" page where you will need to fill in all the necessary fields with your details.
- The registration process is completed by clicking on the "REGISTER IN THE RACE" button,
- You are then transferred to the secure environment of Piraeus Bank to pay the participation fee with your credit or debit card.
- After payment you will be redirected to the "Registration Confirmation" page and you will receive an email to complete/confirm your registration.
We invite you to the Facebook page that we have created, through which you can be informed about the latest news for the race and chat with the other athletes who will take part in the SERRES CIRCUIT RUN.

Η επίδοση αριθμών των αθλητών θα γίνει για τους αγώνες των 24ωρων,12ωρών,6ωρών την Πέμπτη 19 Μαρτίου από τη γραμματεία της διοργάνωσης που θα βρίσκεται στην Πλατεία Κρονίου από τις 17:00 έως 21:00.

Access to Serres is by road. The city has an integrated road network that connects it with all the regions it borders. The Promachonas customs gives access to visitors from the neighbouring Balkan countries.
As for visitors wanting to travel with airplane, Serres is located closest to Thessaloniki Airport (SKG).

Each round is 2500m and is certified by SEGAS and IAU.

6 Hours LONG Run
The second event of the SERRES CIRCUIT ULTRA RUN, run the longest possible distance within the time frame of 12 hours.

Run & Fun Race
A race that will measure the time the athlete has to cover the distance of 6094m (2 laps of the track) on the track.
The Run & Fun will use the entire certified bend with a length of 3047m.
